Band and Orchestra Students can take a band and/or orchestra class and have opportunties to perform.
Battle of the Books Battle of the Books is a book-related competition for students in grades 4-5 (elementary) and 6-8 (middle school). Students are quizzed about books that they have read from the designated Battle of the Books reading list. Teams are sponsored by school libraries.

HOSA

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization, whose mission is to promote career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
Math Counts A nationally recognized program that enriches students who enjoy problem-solving, acquiring new skills, and challenging themselves in solving rigorous math problems of all backgrounds.
Middle School Athletics Students have the opportunity to participate in volleyball and basketball at the school level. At the district level, students can try out to participate in a variety of sports.
Mock Trial Students practice for and get to attend mock trial at ASU. They take on roles such as lawyer and judge in preparation.
Model UN Students prepare for and participate in the Model UN competition.
Musical Theater Production Students learn songs for a production in music class and have the opportunity to audition for a part in the spring production.
Student Council Middle school students can participate together to plan school events and provide leadership and a student voice in our school.
