Band and Orchestra | Students can take a band and/or orchestra class and have opportunties to perform. |
Battle of the Books | Battle of the Books is a book-related competition for students in grades 4-5 (elementary) and 6-8 (middle school). Students are quizzed about books that they have read from the designated Battle of the Books reading list. Teams are sponsored by school libraries. |
HOSA |
HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a global student-led organization, whose mission is to promote career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. |
Math Counts | A nationally recognized program that enriches students who enjoy problem-solving, acquiring new skills, and challenging themselves in solving rigorous math problems of all backgrounds. |
Middle School Athletics | Students have the opportunity to participate in volleyball and basketball at the school level. At the district level, students can try out to participate in a variety of sports. |
Mock Trial | Students practice for and get to attend mock trial at ASU. They take on roles such as lawyer and judge in preparation. |
Model UN | Students prepare for and participate in the Model UN competition. |
Musical Theater Production | Students learn songs for a production in music class and have the opportunity to audition for a part in the spring production. |
Student Council | Middle school students can participate together to plan school events and provide leadership and a student voice in our school. |
